Bubble Sandwich

Because I’ve already shown how the 2mm stringer is tack fused and then cut to form the two sides of the this bubble sandwich, I thought I’d just jump right to the final fusing. These smaller bubble projects are intended as coasters and measure 4×4″.

Fused and Done

Being done after the full fuse since, there’s no need to slump, makes coaster projects fun and breezy.

Final Result

Surprise: It’s a set of four.

Four coasters finished.

Close-up One

I’ve put clear rubber bumpers on the underside of each corner so they won’t slide around on a table. The coasters are less work than the plates, but just as pleasing to look at.
